This is a 2-day Tsavo East tour and West safari from Diani Kenya for a wildlife safari, birding tour or sight-seeing. Plus spend a quality overnight in the jungle.
A Tsavo East and West Tour could be a wonderful wildlife and nature experience, given that the two parks form the largest conservation area in the world. Tsavo East is one of the major national parks of Kenya well known for its diversity in nature and wildlife. Many amazing places in Tsavo East National Park can grab your attention and cannot be missed while in Kenya.
Tsavo East and Tsavo West's incredible landscape includes rivers, water holes, rocks, and peaks with an extensive variety of vegetation. Experience the unique safari in the wilderness and get up close to man the lions, buffaloes and elephants. DAY 1: DIANI – TSAVO EAST (180 KMS – Approx. 3 Hours)
You will be picked up by 05:00 hrs and drive along the main Mombasa-Nairobi highway through the semi-arid country to the Tsavo East National Park and enter the park through Buchuma Gate. You will begin looking for animals on entry into the park passing via Aruba Dam and Kanderi Swamp where more animals could be found. Tsavo East National Park is one of the world’s greatest Wildlife Sanctuaries noted for its vast elephant herds and a variety of wild animals including lions, leopards, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo and other plain game. Lunch will be served at a stop-over restaurant.
You will proceed on to Tsavo West National Park and embark on searching for animals on arrival drive to the direction of the rhino Sanctuary whereby if lucky you may see the black rhino. Other animals likely to be seen are leopards, lions, zebra, hyena, buffalo, elephant, hunting dogs among others. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge / Camp.

DAY 2: TSAVO EAST - DIANI (180 KMS – Approx. 3 Hours)
This day you will wake up for an early breakfast and depart with a game viewing drive en-route to Mzima Springs for your walking safari tour session. Mzima Spring is the source of the Tsavo River, where the water is crystal clear whereby through an underwater glass cabin, it’s possible to see the fish, hippos. Crocodiles also can be found within. Lunch will be served at a stopover restaurant outside the park on your way to Mombasa. Later on, you will depart for Mombasa arriving late in the afternoon drop off at your respective hotel. Daily departures: 2-person minimum, guaranteed departure .

Preparing for the Dhow tour
After the cave visit, the tour agency will take us to the Kenya Wildlife Service offices to pay for the marine park fees. Then we shall take a walk down the jet to board the traditional Arabic Dhow. Each person will be given floaters as preparations for the journey. On the tour, you will visit Mpunguti Marine Park, swim with Dolphins and enjoy it to 15:00 PM.

Dock at Wasini Island
After a long tour full of joy and experiences, the dhow will dock jet (Wasini Island). After the dock, we shall alight the dhow as we head to the local restaurant in Wasini where we shall have our lunch full of delicious seafood and traditional Swahili dishes. After the heavy lunch, we shall take a walk within the Island including the visit to the women boardwalk.

Depart Shimoni / Wasini for the Hotel
Immediately after the Wasini Island tour, we shall head back to the Shimoni jet as we prepare for return back. The Dhow will take to approximately 15 min of cross over, and immediately we dock, we shall take our belongings and get into the car as we return to our hotel. It will take us almost 3hrs and a half.
